The Toledo Police Department Employee Recognition Board selects officers to receive the Command Officer and Patrol Officer of the Month Awards. The Foundation announces the awards internally through a notice and bulletin, then presents the chosen officers with gift cards to local restaurants to recognize their achievements. Every quarter, the Employee Recognition Board selects a civilian employee to receive an award and a gift card from the Foundation.
